House - continued.....

Progress, slow but steady, continues on the new house. We are excited.

Birthday month!

October is birthday time! My brother (10th), Chris (15th) and me(23rd). We had lots of celebrating with eating out and cake!

Breaking Ground!

The new house is begun! Our builder, Dan, got things rolling last week and we are very excited!

The Grand-Motos!

Grandmamoto and Grandpamoto came to see their first grand-daughter (and favorite grandson) for a long weekend! We all had a blast -- and I was thankful for 2 more sets of arms and mucho entertainment for Rylan! Of course Ry was spoiled with toys, rides and attention! We were excited to give them a girl after raising 3 boys!Thanks for a great visit!

1st Bath

A few days ago I had my first real bath in the tub - given by daddy! I wasn't too thrilled, but the towel was warm and cozy afterwards!

"I wanna hold me!"

Whoever says that 2 kids are easier than one, must not be talking about having a newborn and a 2 y/o that is sick! Right now I'm blogging during a rare, miracle of a moment when both of them are down for a nap at the same time! Anyway, the last 2 weeks have been rough - as Ava became less sleepy and more fussy (thank the Lord only during the daytime), and Rylan has had some strange illness causing him to throw up (4-5 times in a row, almost exclusively at night) and have the foulest diarrhea -- but only every other day or so. Anyway, if I ever get captured by terrorists who want to torture me, play a recording of my son whining "I wanna hold me, I wanna hold me on the ground" -- which means hold me, and don't be comfortable doing it -- stand up! -- over and over and I will talk!
