Ava has started to really enjoy her baths! She is much more active and splashes herself all the time!

Last weekend was Chinese New Year and we were invited to a local restaurant for some special food (patient of my dad's). GONG HEY FAT CHOY!
THANK YOU GRANDMAMOTO AND GRANDPAMOTO FOR THE INSTRUMENTS! PLEASE IGNORE THE GOOSE-EGG ON MY FOREHEAD! I FELL ON A COT AT SCHOOL AND MISS NEELY GAVE ME THE BOO-BOO BEAR!

Last week for special music a man did a song called "Life is Like a Mountain Railroad" and accompanied himself with the guitar and a harmonica. He told the kids to listen closely and they would hear a train near the end of the song. Rylan recently got some instruments as a Christmas gift and he LOVES the harmonica! We were in our usual back row seat and I told Rylan to listen for the train. He was standing up to see, and as soon as the man started to play the harmonica Rylan starts shouting "CHOO CHOO, CHOO CHOO!!!" at the top of his lungs! I tried to shush him but I was laughing/crying too hard. I hope the man, and the rest of the church, didn't mind the extra sound effects throughout the song!
Rylan, sitting next to Case on his right, is a full participator in Sabbath School!

Daniel, the sweetest little boy, seeks Rylan out EVERY Sabbath for a hug!

I think Rylan should have the nickname "Mr. Popular", at least at church. He loves girls, especially those in the 8-12 age range. He gravitates towards them like a magnet. And for some reason (maybe its the dimples?) they totally reciprocate! Not only the girls, but boys too! Ask anyone in Cradle Roll, Rylan is the life of the party. Last week he ended up with at least 3 girls sitting on either side of him. He also lights up Case, who is very shy. On one hand I'm glad my boy is sociable and gregarious, on the other -- watch out when school starts, and I don't even want to think about the teenage years!

I love girl clothes!

For Ava's 4 month photos we could not elicit a smile after two appointments (I will not go into my frustrations about the details!) but I did get some at home!

Play time!

Thanks Grandmamoto and Grandpamoto for my new tray for the Bebepod! I like it!

Holidays 2008

Finally, here are some photos from Christmas-- we had fun celebrating with family, my brother and his family, and also Draysen's first birthday!

Hello Friends! We are still here, but life has been crazy! I'm starting back to work this week (YIKES!), Ava is learning to drink from a bottle, Rylan is still being a good boy and the house continues to be built (when it's not raining!). I'll update more photos from the holidays soon!
