Manners
For some reason Rylan likes to be alone while watching his favorite TV shows. Yesterday I walked into my room where he was watching something. "Go away, Mommy" he says. Indignant, I replied "Is that how you talk to me?" So he said "May you go away please, mommy?"

Growing Boy!
Last week one day while my mom was watching the kids, she had finally gotten a chance to make herself a sandwhich after the kids had been fed lunch. Rylan took one look at it and said, "Popo, I'll share that sandwhich with you. You know, Popo, when little boys get hungry, they NEED to eat!"

Dem Bones!
FIRST AND LAST!
On Oct 4, 2009, Chris, Rylan and I went to our first Braves' game! It was the last game of the season and they were already out of the play-offs, but we had free tickets, courtesy of the Home Depot (since we gave them a ton of money over the last year). As you can see, free tickets mean the very top row of seats in the stadium!! But at least we were between home and 1st, so really could see fine. Rylan's favorite part was the Home Depot mascots -- the tools, who came out and ran a "race", tackling eachother the whole way, which lasted all of 5 minutes. He couldn't stop talking about them and wondering where they went and when they were coming back! We stayed until the 8th inning (it was tied 1-1) and then headed out to avoid traffic. It ended up going to 15 innings and the Braves lost! Oh, well! It was a fun experience for all, especially the $50 we spent on FOOD!

Funny Rylan Quote of the Day
Last night while Chris was putting together his new wood stove, Rylan passed some gas, and commented, "I just made a storm with my body".

Leprosy
Today in Cradle Roll, Rylan shared with everyone that he had been sick this past week. First he burned his left hand a week ago Friday by accidentally touching my flat iron while it was on. Then he was sick with fevers for about 48 hours after that, Chris thinks maybe the swine flu. Anyway, he told Aunt Connie while she played the piano "I had leprosy! I thought I was going to DIE! But Jesus and the angels healed me!" Everyone had a good laugh.
P.S. As I was typing this with Rylan in my lap, he said -- That's a lot of letters, mommy, you can't count them!
