"I'm too sexy for this picture!"

In April, we suddenly went from Winter to Summer! So we had to get out Rylan's sunglasses and buy some for Ava (2 for $5 at the Children' s Place!) Ever since, we've been spending a LOT of time outside, which is great because we'd all een getting cabin fever!

Babydolls

Ava has just started to take an interest in her dolls - feeding them, carrying them around or pushing them in their stroller. And, so has Rylan! One day I captured him feeding the baby a bottle, on the couch in exactly the same position and way that Ava gets her bottle every morning! Of course, the bottle had to be filled with water so the baby would pee! I spent the rest of the morning wiping up water spills from the floor!

SHARING

So far, Rylan and Ava are best friends and Rylan is really good at sharing with her! Even sweets! Couldn't resist this one of them sharing a lollipop!

Daffodils

He really was just trying to put his arm around her, but as Ava doesn't sit still for 2 seconds, it looks like a choke hold!

Back out after the rain -- SUNSHINE!







Every spring a huge patch of daffodils bloom in my parents front pasture. They only last about 2 weeks. The weather was so bad during the time that they bloomed this year I barely found a day off that wasn't raining to take the kids out for some photos before they disappeared! Everybody loves daffodils!

Almost 2 years since we left, we made our way back to Fayettenam for a visit! Two very important reasons for this trip - 1. Miss Gianna Susanna, spawn of Kim and Micaiah and 2. Tai's profession of faith to join the SDA church! What wonderful events! We also were blessed to hang out with our dear friend Sherry, Larry and Nick Brooks! We had a wonderful time visiting with the Kuzma's, Brooks and Tai. Even played a little tennis! The 7 hour drive there was tortue, as Ava ony slept 1.5 hrs of it and she hates to be confined! The trip back was a bit more tolerable -- we stopped in Batesburg, S.C. to visit my aunt/uncle and cousin Ashleigh and crashed Addy's 2 year birthday party! Also got to see new cousin Caroline Ellisor! Plus my grandma was there - always a blessing. Thanks for all the hospitality -- a lot of work with two little ones!

Possum country!

One day my mom came over and told us that she saw a possum in our driveway! We all rushed out to see if it was still there. But alas, it had already moved on. As we walked down the drieway, however, I noticed a tree that had a large hole beside it. I told Rylan to go check if it may have gone into that hole, and sure enough, there it was! He didn't play dead, but did snarl at us a few times! We left him alone after a few good photos!

Ava is growing up! She is getting so big and doing so much, she really keeps up with Rylan quite well and they adore eachother! The only thing that keeps her looking like a baby is her lack of hair! I love it!
